Migraine is referred to as an intense headache that may be accompanied by other symptoms such as vomiting, nausea, lightheadedness, visual problems and an increased sensitivity to light or sound. Migraines may not be a big threat to life but it can significantly damage the quality of people’s lives.

Common migraine triggers are as follows:

  1. Stress
  2. Anxiety
  3. Caffeine
  4. Alcohol
  5. Dehydration
  6. Chocolate
  7. Cheese
  8. Tention on neck or shoulder
  9. Dental issues
  10. Eye strain
  11. Bright Light
  12. Loud Noise
  13. Smoking
  14. Head Injury
Ultimately the key to prevent migraine is to try to avoid the things that might trigger your attacks. Most people benefit from trying to get stable sleep, eating regular meals, drinking plenty of fluids to keep hydrated, and trying to manage stress. Taking regular exercise may also help prevent migraines since it helps with breathing, improving blood sugar balance and maintaining general wellbeing. If you or your love ones suffer from migraine attacks; it is better to visit your family doctor or specialist for proper treatment.
