An occasional stop for fast food can fit into a healthy diet — if you’re careful about what you order. Consider these tips.
Smaller portion is the key
If the fast-food restaurant offers several sandwich sizes, pick the smallest. Bypass hamburgers with two or three beef patties, which can be close to 800 calories. Choose instead a regular- or children’s-sized hamburger, which has about 250 calories. And skip the large serving of french fries and ask for a small serving instead. This switch alone can save 200 calories.
Healthy eating is all about balance. You can enjoy your favorite foods even if they are high in calories, fat or added sugars. The key is eating them only once in a while or in smaller portions and balancing them out with healthier foods and more physical activity. #healthybalancediet #healthy #goodhealth #gogreen #health #healthtip #winnielimkhoo #specialist #neurologist #doctor #physician #familydoctor #manila – at The Paragon
